I was kinda getting pissed off that my system was getting a bit unstable because of the summer heat in L. A., so I went and bought a replacement acrylic window from pcmods.com (I already had one of theirs, so I just bought another and just swapped them) with pre-cut fan holes. I added two more intake fans to blow air right onto the cpu/hsf assembly. Bingo! My cpu temps dropped 3~5C and my system became rock solid, yeah!!!

Amazing what $30 well-invested can do to bring overclocking satisfaction and joy!!!

Nice job. I've been considering picking up some replacement plexi and mounting 2 120mm fans in my door. Right now the case is running without the door because my 120mmZalman bracket fan kind of gets in the way. My best friend calls it a "Frankenstein" case. lol. I still need to make a blowhole in one of these cases.

Do you have a digital camera? If so, why don't you grab a few pics and post them here (I think there was a thread where people were posting pics of their computer setups) so I can take a look at your beauty? I added two multi-colored LED fans and lined the acrylic window with EL wire. I connected it to my switch bus so I can turn in on and off. It's a pretty cool effect!

LOL. Not yet. It's on my list of "wants" for the near future. Let me know what you finally purchase for a digital camera. Besides, I need to clean the case up a bit before I take any pics. lol. My best friend calls it a Frankenstein system. Not quite as shocking as Dean's though. LOL!
