Fan Controller

I installed this fan controller in both of my home computers. It greatly reduced the db that the fans were putting out. I turned the fans to the slowest voltage ( 7V ) and the temps only rose a few degrees celcius. <BR><BR><BR><img src="http://home.nc.rr.com/xcal/mod.gif">

pretty nice, i have one, but mine has switches instead of knobs.

That really is sweet. I like the blue light around the knobs. Did you find it hard/annoying to have to wire in all the fans?

Sorry I haven't responded, I have been outta town. i found the fan controllers at ,http://www.adpmods.com/xcart/customer/home.php?cat=27, I forgot who makes it.<BR><BR>It was really easy to hook-up but it is always a pain in the arse to mess with wires, aarrggg.

That is my biggest annoyance about upgrading....if it needs additional power and I need to do rewiring.

This is kind of related.. I want to get a fan controller for christmas(i'm going to get an AMD XP +2800, SLK 900-A, and a 92mm Delta)to tone down the 92mm fan and the Smartfan2 I have in my case. I'd prefer it to be silver. I haven't found any good ones.. have any suggestions?

The Coolermaster Aerogate is a nice fan controller. It's about $23 and is aluminum.<BR><BR><img src="http://images10.newegg.com/productimage/13-999-153-01.JPG">

My stepdad plays computer games. I'll start UT2k3 to play a game, and all the settings will be messed up cuz he was messing around. We play xBox a lot together. I don't know about a standard black case...I painted mine a satin black and it does not match exactly...I will probably repaint&nbsp;the controller to match...but I assume it would match a standard black case...
