View Full Version : i865PE/i875P 300+ MHz FSB Problems?
Well I've been having this really weird slowdown problem with my various i865PE/i875P based mobo's that go past 300 MHz FSB and I couldn't figure out what was wrong until now.

Apparently i865PE/i875P loses PCI lock if you keep everythign at 66/33 when running above 300ish+ FSB. The symptoms are extreme slowdown. Everything works and can be stable, it's just extremely slow.

To fix this you're have to raise your AGP/PCI speeds 1-2 MHz, since it relocks when it's raised.

I think there's a problem or two with this Colin. Almost everyone here is an AMDer, and who can get their FSB over 300 besides you, anyway?

Haha Viper409 don't worry about it. I'm use to all the AMD'ers here flinging mud.

Must be some soft of inferiority complex thingy. Oops did I say that out loud?
