Good Deal?/New Mobo

Hey, i found someone who said he'll trade me his Duron 1000 (morgon core?), some crappy mobo with no AGP slot, and 256MB PC2100 for my Celly 850@1020, AOpen AX34-U, and 256MB PC133. Good deal? also, I'm gonna need a new mobo for this sincei m not useing his sh*tty one, would a really awesome mobo work like the A7N8X Deluxe? Cause if i got that i could slowly work my way up and such.

Seems like a good trade to me. Expecially if you get yoruself a new Mobo. AMD Processors are cheap and you can get an Athlon XP 1700 for around $45 and overclock that sucker to at least 2.2Ghz. I think it's a good trade.

I have ver litle cash irght now, so I guess ill trade when I have enoguh for a good Nforce2 mobo, and then later ill get 1700+ and some more/better RAM, thanks. Intel are so dang expensive now.

maxpowerz that is an excellent deal. I guess in the mean tiem you'll have to deal with integrated graphics but when you get your new mobo your system will be flying! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"><BR><BR>I got my old Duron 1 GHz to 1.4 GHz on air cooling, perhaps you can do better! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Hehe, yah! Are all durons 1000 and up the morgan core? Do they have SSE? And should I get a cheaper mobo now and trade, or save for a bit, get a better mobo and then trade?

Once you have enough cash for a decent nForce 2 mobo, that is the last Sct A motherboard you'll need.
