AOpen AK79D-400VN on board lan issue

I just got the AK79D-400VN motherboard. I am using Windows 2000 pro. Ok the driver AOPEN something loaded for the Lan driver in Win 2000 which I loaded from multi driver CD that came with motherboard. I can set up the IP address in the network properties for Lan. On the machine I can Ping 127.0.0.1. I see the Green light is constantly on the Lan connector on AK79D-400VN when I connect to router/switch. In Local Area Connection status It shows I can send data but I can't receive data. Any Ideas what the problem might be with solution? Thanks in advance.

neftv....welcome to PCStats. <BR><BR>I'm not very good with networks, but I can advise you to first go to nVidia's website and download all the latest nForce 2 drivers. They are updated quite a bit, so doing something as small as that may solve your problem. Hopefully someone else here with more networking experience can point you in a different direction if you need it.
