Hey fellas its me douglas3500 but the forum thing somehow got me outta the forums <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> anwyays....i got a question....<BR><BR>I have the X dreamer case with 350w ps, I also have four fans (all of which have 4 pin power connecters). Im looking to buy the<BR>Zalman ZM-MFC1 for a Fan controller, but it says its a 3 pin fan controller????? what does this mean????? is it not compatible with my system?? right now i have 4 fans with blue neon lights, and i wanna be able to control the speeds ( noise is becoming a factor). Please give me a hand and explain the meaning of this 3 pin thing. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> thanks fellas

A 3 pin connector is the kind you plug into your mother board for the CPU fan. As for compatability you can gat adapters to convert a 4 pin into a 3 pin, most times the fan controller comes with them line the Vantec Nexus. If it does not have any that come with the controller you can buy them pretty cheap at places like SVC <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.svcompucycle.com/4to3ad.html">HERE</a>.
