hey all, i was thinkin about gettin a cold cathode light to add to my brightned comp. But what does it mean by sounds activated????? how does that work just want one that will be on all the time when im usin my comp yu know what i mean. Also, anyone know how to build a baybus fan controller. is there such a thing as warm cathode, cause mine feels hot and I suspect its the main source of my pc heat.

Some of them have an inverter that makes the light go on and off to music. IE, play some tunes on the computer and the light will flash. I've never seen one in action, so I can't tell you how fancy they can look, but from the sounds of it you just need a regular one to turn on and stay on.

mine is sound activated but i just set it to always on and then I went to radioshack and bought a pushbutton to put on top of the case to controll it
