I've seen it done before. Last time I wanted to try it, I gave up on trying to find the case. Apple must recollect all their cases when people throw away their Macs. They are impossible to find.

shiz .. it is almost impossible to find a mac case. when they become available they are snatched up faster then you can find them by people that are wanting to do this mod. that and most mac users trade their macs in.

I just had a thought (wow, what a rare moment!)... what if you made an Athlon 64 system out of an old Mac Classic box? My sister has one, and I wonder if she would let me gut it. I find a sense of poetic justice to have an original Mac kicking the new Mac G5's @ss!

I guess my hatred for macs go as far as to not even want anything to do with them. And the only reason I had a mild likeness for them was because I thought they were the best for graphics, but I learned a while ago that the only reason in the beginning people liked them so much for graphics is because the software was only out on their platform, but now that almost all of the software has been ported over to windows, both platforms, pc and mac, are equal in their graphics capability. <BR><BR>To hell with Macs! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

The only thing keeping me away from the Mac platform is the price. I wouldn't use a Mac desktop, but I would definetly use their notebooks.

I'd use Mac OS 10.X just as much as WinXP if I owned a Mac. The only reason I don't is because I don't have $4k just laying around to buy one.
