i have just been messing about with my geforce 3 and i have managed to score some interesting scores..
i have kept my cpu at 10x210 (1.625vcore in the bios) and my memory (cas 2 2-2-6) the same throughout all the testing as i have heat problems.. its going up to high for my liking so i have turned the cpu speed and vcore down to a acceptable level..
let me know what you think ok?

Standard Score, GPU clock speeds at 175/400

Overclocked Score GPU clock speeds at 266/576!!

now what do you guys think? i think im top in my class (if i use approx settings when searching for whos where type thing..
this is what i mean..

let me know what you think!!

wow i wish my tbred can do 1.625 vcore at 200mhz, good job man, what kind of cooling do you got on it

well to be honest my cooling sucks.. its only a falcon rock 2 heatsink with a YS Tech 80MM fan (its noiser than the other one, but it puts out 45CFM out rather than 27CFM!!)
oh and its a barton core xp2500 cpu.. i have under volted it till i can get a better heatsink and fan (slk-900U + vantec tornado 92mm fan) and then i will be playing about with it..

my older xp1700 (that my girl friend has) runs no problems at 2.2ghz with a 1.6vcore setting, its running at 10.5 x 211 and its running fine.. same sort of heatsink tho, not been uprated. her case is a xaser 2 case (5 fans installed and all working!)

I did a search aith the GF3Ti200 and am seeing people with scores of 13709 tops. You're doing pretty good considering those other guys are all over 2.35GHz and more often P4 over 3.

if i set it to what people have near to me, im on top of the g3 charts! this was what i was saying about..
im going to be aiming for the top spot when i get my pc sorted out, i know i dont really have to much of a chance, but i will give it a darn good go anyways i never thought my g3 would go as high has it has, its gone over the 220/500 i thought it would do!! its a sparkle card as well, i havent heard to many good things about these either.. never mind, im happy with it!

phill, the reason I don't know what you are talking about is that your links always connect to the search page without any values selected (empty).

basically all im saying is this:

using my rig as an approx system, you can put in the following config... amd althon xp, clock speed from 2050mhz to 2150mhz, the geforce 3 ti200 graphics chipset, the resolution and FSAA as standard, my os, (windows xp) and then the highest score per user..

thats it, i dont follow as to why the stupid search dont work with the details in, but never mind...
i will try and aim higher when i get my rig sorted out properly...

thank you rithemking i was very happy myself when i saw how fast it was going! the only problem with the rig now, is that when i try and connect the two big 120mm fans it kills the pc.. im needing a 550W psu, a vantec tornado fan, a fan controller and a new heatsink, for which im choosing a thermalright SLK-900U and when then thats all done, im going to be aiming to get a 9800 pro inside there somehow,... god i think my work is cut out for me here

Hey Phil,

Once you get the heatsink and fan in there, I think there's room for you to push the overclock on your Barton a bit more! You should be able to get it to 2.2 GHz and up (10.5 x 210 MHz = 2.2 GHz or 11 x 210 MHz = 2.3 GHz). You may have to raise your Vcore to 1.85 V, but if you get the SLK-900U, you should have no problems doing that. Anyways, WTG on the overclocking so far!

well i have slightly upped my cpu speed a little, its not 10x216 (using a 1.65vcore setting in the bios), which gives me just shy of 2.2ghz, but its not bad considering the memory is only PC3200 stuff!! im very happy with its performance, i only wish my cooling was as good

at the moment, its running under 50C, its sometimes as low as 40C with a full load or sometimes as much as 48C with a load (doesnt seem to matter to much which program i use, the program that came with the nf7-s or the motherboard monitor program) they both seem to give over the top results. and as for the program that came with the motherboard it for some reason seems to be cutting out the cpu fan!!! only god knows what the hell is going on there...

i have gotten the cpu running at 2.35ghz before, with a 1.775vcore setting, but then the heat for me was too much and i slowed it down
i have a few screen shots if you would like to see them? let me know, i always like a bit of benchmarking

for some reason when i set it at 216FSB the bios only sees it at 215FSB and thats the same regardless of what setting i have the FSB at.. any ideas why its doing that? altho i have just upped it to 10.5 x 216FSB! still only using 1.7vcore as well, i wouldnt go up any higher than that.. im just checking the bios temp now and i have got 41C with the side of the case slightly off..)

i have a bit of a crappy fan on the cpu, the darn thing keeps cutting out every now and again, goes on again if you wiggle the cable, but its something that i dont want to have over my head should the darn thing stop altogether! although i have got the cpu set to turn off at 75C... cant be too carefull now can i? if you want benchies, i can give you benchies i got lots of pics to show!!

well thanks for helping me understand the 'lingo'!!!

well Eugene, until i get my new psu and heatsink, im not going to be able to do much im afarid my psu at the moment is whats holding me back as this monring (at about 4am!!) i was using my pc and playing about with overclocking it and so on, when it for no reason whatsoever just turns off. i hadnt upped the vcore that much or wasnt expecting that much, but the darn thing just shut down and it wouldnt even turn on..
now i have seen that using ths hardware monitor that came with the motherboard, the program has the effect of shutting down the cpu fan.. which im not happy about! i have no idea why this is, but there you go...

im under my 2.2ghz goal for the moment but it wont be long till i have the old girl back up to 2.4ghz+ well, i cant wait to be trying anyways!
