Ok, heres the deal..

The hard drive on one of my clients PC's started to die. It was causing the computer to lock up due to some bad cylenders, so I ordered a new drive and wanted to copy all the data off the old drive and onto the new one. Luckily none of the data is on those bad parts of the drive. It was the page file that was causing it to lock up. I used Symantec Ghost (a 3.25 inch floppy run program) to create an image from the old drive, and restore it on one of 4 partitions on the new drive. The problem is when I boot up windows the windows drive now (the old drive removed) is coming up as drive e:. Therefore all the links and shortcuts throughout the software isnt working. I cant change the drive letter of the primary system drive in windows or safe mode. Does anyone know a way in which this can be changed?

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Jose

p.s. if you need a more detailed runthrough of what I did i will post it later, i'm trying a different solution as we speak and need to get back to it.
