GAY RETARDED INTERNET EXPLORER PROBLEM(S)

Hi ya'll, how come my Internet Explorer takes 3 minutes to load up a web page on start up, literaly, kazaa does to.<BR><BR>Do any of you know what could be the prob?, Mozilla works fine.<BR><BR>Windows XP Pro, i reformatted recently and tried to work with two separate partitions, could the problem be that where windows is, the format is NTFS, and programs and junk are FAT32?,<BR><BR>Oh, and is there any good program that makes it easy to separate program files, and windows stuff, you know, for partitions? umm i have a question, why did u use fat32 partition for ur programs. i think ntfs is faster, i use it for both my windows partition and my other crap partition lol. im not sure why internet is taking 3 minutes to load, but is ur windows all up to date with updates? that might help. <BR><br><br><< <i>Oh, and is there any good program that makes it easy to separate program files, and windows stuff, you know, for partitions?</i> >><br><br><BR>do u mean somtin like partition magic? it helps make partitions i beleive, u know u can just use windows to partition unpartitioned drives, thats all i did<BR><BR>hope this helps wit at least one of ur problems <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Slawek, welcome to PCStats!!!<BR><BR>The problem shouldn't have anything to do with the fact that you have NTFS and FAT32 on two separate partitions. As long as your OS recognizes those partitions, the speed at which your data is accessed should not be substantial (although FAT32 is actually *slightly* faster but less secure than NTFS). Have you tried reinstalling IE? I think this is a software problem rather than a hardware one since your Mozilla works fine. Check to see if you have a virus or adware/spyware that's eating up system resources. You may consider doing a repair install and see if you get your IE back to normal again.
