norton gohst 2003

does each step of norton ghost take an incredible amount of time or has it locked up?<BR>its been saying "checking ntfs volume please wait" for like 10 minutes..<BR>if anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated.

Care to let us know your hardware spec, and harddisk info? It maybe that your PC is kinda slow, or the program is locked up.........

In most cases Ghost 2003 is very fast about it's tasking...

I bet it's either locked, got some spyware, or Non-Administrator restrictions.
I use nothing buy Ghost 2003, has been that way since I got the digital grip on it.
Likewise, try it over again and if it's still giving you the same troubles, maybe it's a good idea to look into another version or start it from scratch.
