??....ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS BOX VANISHES

Just a question, if anyone has an answer .<BR><BR>When I open my Add / Remove programs box.....it disappears after 2 seconds.......and i cannot get back in?<BR><BR>is this caused by a virus?<BR><BR>is there a fix?<BR><BR>am I nuts?<BR><BR><BR><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">)<BR><BR>

log in to safe mode by pressing f8 during startup & then open an internet explorer & click on tools - internet options & then advanced & uncheck 3rd party browser extensions & click apply & ok. Then click on start - run & type msconfig & press enter. Now in msconfig under general - click on selective startup & then uncheck load startup group items & click apply & close & restart the computer & try to open add/remove programs.
The problem will be fixed

Another solution that came to my mind...well possible solution...
are you running any kind of windowblind? I had a buddy here about a week ago that was and had the same problem. When he removed the windowblind it worked perfectly....just my .02.
