Just curious if anyone had a recommendation on what to set for a page file size? I've read that it's best to keep it set to at least one and a half times the amount of ram you have, but I've also read that a smaller page file, say 256 or no file at all ( if you have at least a gig of ram) will optimize your systems performance. I have a gig of ram and would like to get the best performance out of my computer that is possible. Any suggestions would be great! Hey DODOUBLE, welcome to PCStats.

What OS are you running? If you're running Win2k/XP I wouldn't bother setting the page file, if you're running Win98 set the page file no larger than 512MB. If you are using win9X there is a problem with the OS addressing 1GB or more of memory...
