i have a search engine type thing, like spyware, but its on the site, and covers most of the site, so i cant click anything. its not a popup, and aparently not spyware (i ran spybot sd). the weird thing is taht it only comes up on these random websites, but never optonline, or here, one site its always coming up on is www.mxtabs.net , which is pissing me off cuz i cant get my tabs. but its not only that site, theres random ones that it comes up on. any ideas

also i checked the task manager and processes for anything weird, and i didnt see anything too strange

<< i kinda figured spybot and adaware did the same thing lol >>

They do, but depending on how often you update their lists, one may find things the other has not. That's why I use both on a regular basis. Problem is, neither of them will fix registry hacks like hijacked browsing (IE home page mysteriously changing at every reboot).
one annoying thing is that now when i goto a page that normally brought that page up, it cant so it just keeps making that damn click sound....kinda annoying, but better than search engine thingy
