<< There are many things that can slow a computer down these days. Most is mainly due to spy ware and viruses being installed on a computer from surfing the internet, downloading mp3’s >>

Just a question... Someone had told me that MP3's could not contain viruses, spyware or any damaging material coz they have such a high compression and could only be decompressed by audio software which has no direct action against any other major system file on your computer therefore safe to download.
Is this at all true??

i think what he means by that is that if you use a lot of p2p like kazaa to get your mp3s then you run the risk of getting or downloading a virus as the p2p networks are littered with them
