A reader recently wrote in with this question, and just in case anyone else is facing the same critical problem right in the middle of exam time, I'm posting the answer right here for everyone's benefit;<BR><BR><em>"Hey there I got some troubles with my hard drive and I was wondering if there was anyway that you knew of to fix the problem or at least grab some files off of it.<BR><BR>Well what happened is that windows failed to boot so then I tried to install windows onto a second drive in order to back up the files but for some odd reason windows started to format the wrong drive and now the drive with all my files on it is not formatted at all. So this is my question, is there anyway to recover files off of a drive that was partially formatted but—isn’t formatted at all—please help me its been at least a couple weeks since I last backed up my files and this will put my school work back almost a month.
