Because of Microsoft's bullying, Lindows has changed their name to Linspire. Along with the name change they are offering Linspire 4.5.393 for free as a promotion for a limited time. That's $49.95 for nothing!!!!
Check out the Q: Is there any promotion related to the new name? here for a link to the order form. You'll have to sign up as a member, but what the hey, right? Just put in the coupon code, and continue will show the total order equal to a big fat ZERO (the coupon code is incredibly simple to find out, but if you can't, you can PM me ).
One thing that surprised me is that they provide no link whatsoever on their final order page, nor on the confirmation email they send, to the official download. Kind of stupid if you ask me. Anyway, the DL can be found here. All you need is a Bit Torrent program of some sort and you're off to the races. I was getting 175+ KB/s transfers and Westy was getting 255, so this should finish in less than 10 minutes rather than the 10 days it takes from other Bit Torrent sites. LMAO!
Best yet, the ISO is a bootable version, so it can be run from Windows without even having to install to the HDD!

Huh? Code? You mean the coupon code? What was their name before it became Linspire? The one Microsoft is bullying them over.......

Thanks for the info, Rithem. Their offer is still running, if anyone's still interested. Gonna see how well this thing runs on something other than XP. Getting tired of MS's BS.
