How does this work exactly? I try to play a DVD and my Divx Player 2.5 wont read it. It tells me to make sure it's an avi or mpeg-4 file, but it's in .VOC, how do I get it to play?
I downloaded Cliprex, but that thing just plays the files, doesn't let me change language, subtitles, ect. and the quality on it when sized up lowers =(

I have no idea what's going on... so if someone could kindly help me =)
i am guessing that you have ripped the dvd so if you have the *.vob and *.ifo files you can play them in windvd. i htink the divxplayer only does mpeg4 encoded stuff.

maybe u need latest xvid codec?

copy it, and rename it to .mpeg or .avi that works somethimes for me

I'm not too sure what "ripped" means, but my friends use that term when they can't describe how high they are. Anyway, my DVD's are liscensed, so I don't know if they're ripped or... whatever.
It plays now, but I HAVE to have the Cliprex software, then I just open everything with Windows Media. It's like having an extra program for nothing though =( Can't I just keep its codecs and all that stuff and uninstall the program?
try the xvid codec, as for ripped, it basically means taken from a p2p site or something similar kinda like music of kazaa napster
