uh 50C back in the spring with 10C weather, now, i dont even want to look (new case + plenty of fans are badly needed <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> )

I'm running my CPU at about 47C under load. It's still only in the 80's where I live. Once the summer heat comes around that will jump to 50C....

41-43C under load, Tornado 1/2 speed. Overclock backed down (2.1GHz), vcore backed down (1.78V) to save my poor mobo.

lol...i dont even wana mention my temps...my idle temps was 42 yesterday when room temp was 20 degrees...it now idles at 49 degrees cause we didnt turn on airconditioning yet <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0">...but thats ok...i just turned on ac and am gettin a new heatsink in a day or two...

Sorry, didn't specify my temps were diode temps.. socket is 38. How did you fit a 90mm on the Aeroflow? That must overlap each side of the aeroflow by 0.9cm...

i got a zalman fb123 fan bracket thing and used it with my 90mm thermaltake casefan with fan speed control...its sorta a diamond over the aeroflow...and i made a crappy fan duct from the 90mm to the aeroflow...shame it looks so ugly otherwise i probably wouldnt have bothered with the new heatsink..lol o almost forgot to add...they were selling the fb123 fan bracket with a zalman 92mm fan for 10 bucks canadian...very tempting...so i had to buy it..LOL

Thnx for posting this as my CPU was doing 50C idle!!! Cause it was still running 1.85vCore for some reason. Set it back down to 1.65vCore and its idling around 40C again...Although it was 88F in the room at the time...

You guys think you have it bad? The ambients in my bedroom are so bad the PSU is crapping out. Forget running the 2500+M at 2.7, I have to underclock it all the way back to 2.6GHz because it reboots in the middle of the game when the PSU gets too warm and becomes incredibly inefficient. This weekends project is to move the AC to the window by the desk, remove the desk shelving and prop the case up on a box so the AC blows into it directly. That and make a dryer duct mod for the Prommy exhaust out the window. I'd have thought myself crazy 6 months ago to be thinking -24C was too warm for the CPU. ROFL!

My temps is 52C at max load @1.87v. It's at 2.36Ghz right now, but I still haven't maxed. The weather in Colorado is crazy. A few days ago it was in the 80s(F), but the next day it snowed. Now it's starting to get hotter, but I wouldn't be suprised if it snowed again LOL<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I'll be creepin on post #1337 soon so you guys remind me so I don't forget to take a screen shot. im still running 41c under load at 2.1ghz, at 1.6ghz its about 35c, its still not that how out here, im movin my comp to the basement soon where its cold, i dont have any AC, n im not willing downclock it

The P4 2.8Ghz has a higher thermal ouput than the Barton 2800, and it is significantly hotter than the Athlon 64 2800. You just happen to have a cool house, or a good processor. In general, P4s are the hottest desktop processor you can buy...expecially the new Prescott. I definetly wouldn't be amuzed if someone slapped a 3.4Ghz P4 in my system....It would slow down my games, and my 64 bit software would stop running <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

my temps fluctuate alot so at night time, i idle around 38C 39C and system temp around 20 or 21, during the hottest tie during the day ill prolly idle at 46C with the system temp at 29. but this is clocked down from 2.3ghz with 1.85vcore, i went back down to 2.1ghz 1.75vcore, i saw it idleing like at 50 and 51 but it was like 92F in my room

As for the climate in my accomodation, it is always hot in my room...must just have decent airflow (as i have stock cooling on it).

My temps for both are attrocious. My p4 2.4B @ 2.8 idles at 32C and goes right up to 51C when running seti. My barton 2500 @ stock idles at 52C and reaches about 63C under load, which isnt too often. To make matters worse, this is in the UK when it isn't even hot. My P4 does have the side off and air blowing in from the window (shaded) I should really get some coolers, but I totall destroyed my trials bike yesterday and need to sort that out.

actually 420 is 4:20pm. the first time anyone ever ingested LSD25. that specific chemical variant of halucinagen was taken by it's maker to see the effects it would have on the human mind personally before offering it to the psychiatric community. a buddy of mine did a term paper on it in college and got an A. so there ya go. and yes psychiatrist were using it to find out what was wrong with schizophrenics and such. people with "mind diseases". the united states army even gave to some of it's troops to see the effects of war on the altered state mind. pretty f;_;cked up huh?

medicinal canibus sativa and indica have helped "natives" for centuries. the us government prescribes it to a select few(so much for the war on pot huh?) for such purposes. i'm no hippy but i do get tired of the medical community "discovering" that something they considered useless ritual medicine of natives has unique medicinal properties that are ten times better than thier synthetics and have none to relatively few side effects. ever see the commercials that say "do you have.............................................. .........." then follow with "may cause(add six million side affects here)". just crazy. oh, i do drink but don't do ****s. not even asperin.

I've always wanted to become a doctor but after taking a look at Chinese traditional medicine I must say I would much rather go to People's Republic of China to study their medicine. But then again I've been thining about trashing the whole getting into medicine idea all together. Time will tell... Oh and I hate beer too, I just dont like the taste, I used to before... I have yet to find a beer that I actually like the taste of. I prefer much harder alcohol...gets me where I want to be faster. As for pot being better for you than alcohol, that's definetly not true. Alcohol isn't so good for your liver, and that's about all. Smoking pot is horibbly for just about every part of your body.

at the age of 22 i drank 6 bottles of hard liquor. it may have been the different makes that saved me or whatever but i will never drink to get drunk ever again. i wound up getting sober then had to get drunk all over again. trust me, decomposition in the morning is no fun. if you want to know the makes they were 2xbacardi, 1xjack daniels(green label), 1xcaptain morgans, 2xsmirnoff vodka. no, i will never forget.
