anyone have a chance to dl the new slipknot cd? its fvcking awesome cd, even has ACCOUSTIC songs!! AND SOLOS!! its crazy<BR><BR><BR>personal favorite as of rite now: blister exists<BR><BR>and vermillion pt 2 is awesome accoustic song<BR>

My friend is meant to be bringing me it when he gets off from holiday, i downloaded it to have a listen, and IMHO there are only 2 decent tunes, "duality" and "pulse of the maggot". Hated the acoustic junk, just not slipknot at all, more stone sour esque, and am not too keen on them.<BR><BR>I've been listening to duality non stop though. It is my tune of the year so far; not too wild, but just enough to know its slipknot.

the only part that sux is that there is no iowa (the song) or scissors 15minute monster at the end, those were crazy

nah, slipknot are one hell of a band. I just think their consistency for thrashin tunes isnt what it could be. Compile all the decent tunes from 3 albums and you've basically got a superb metal mayhem disk.

from what ive heard on their new cd, it sounds alot like their old stuff, back in the mfkr digipack time. but they did this 1 half a$$ed cuz they're splitting up or somethin i heard, and they had a contract for 3 albums, so they hadda stick to the contract or lose everythin they made, somethin like that, i listen to rap now mostly
