I just find it funny, i've never really listened to mainstream music, but i've seen people who love bands one day find out that they are "un-cool" to listen to and stop and start trashing on the band.

I laugh when i think about the people who liked the boy bands in elementary school but come around middle school they were supposedly dark, deep and depressed or know how to talk the dizzle with da' doggy fizzle.

than on to highschool...well..i dropped out. so i can't comment. :D

First of all, bands like that have absolutely no skill on instruments, they discrase the name of Metal. Metal is a form of loud and technical music not just one riff being played thruout a song. All Korn is commercial music, just like the rest of NuMetal. I really despise seeing these emo kids wearing Slipknot shirts saying they listen to metal, its pure bull**** just another band with no skill. REAL Metal bands are (only mentioning a few)

man im with devils almost completly except for that i like slipknot and consider them death metal, old korn like the third and before each had like 2 good songs on them, if u combined them itd be an ok album, all three of slipknot's albums are good. past that, everything youve posted....sux.

metal is what devils said....oh and iced earth is ****ing awesome if ur going for some good bands. devils will say its too progressive (which is still way better then ****nig numetal), but most of it is more thrash orientated, and some death.

Green Day is cool, especially their old stuff, the new album is just ok. Good Charlotte is utter crap in my opinion, theyre an image band which i despise. listen to At the Drive-In, theyre 10x better hehe, well you dont have to if you dont want to, but i like them.

Good Charlotte is ok... few good songs, but thats it. Blink 182 is my fav. band, as well as Box Car Racer (side project). Greenday is cool, I totally agree w/ you guys about their old stuff being better. The only new track i like from Greenday is "Wake me up, when September ends" i think thats the title. My fav. from them is "When I come around". eheh I'm all about punk/emo/acoustic/alternative... lil bit of pop and metal, eh.
