well, i have two...<BR>1) why the he|| does it take so long to clear history?<BR><BR>2nd isnt completly related to internet explorer but,<BR>2) why is windows so bad <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"><BR><BR>fuxing explorer.exe is such a bad program <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Don't like Explorer.exe? Use a different shell. I forget the site but I was looking at a good one a few weeks ago with lots of alternative shells on. Or just use ResHacker. You can quite easily change the start menu text with it, not sure what else though <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><BR><BR>As for history, I'm not sure. It takes a lot longer to clear 10 x 1KB files than it does to clear one 10KB file so that might be it...

if oyu really wanted you can make your own shell...i did one in flash once - it looked fancy and stuff but functionalitywise it wasn't the best as i didn't have any control panel stuff or anything like that linked!
