CPU ratio

Can i change the multiplier(or ratio) of my cpu? I will buy a 3.4ghz intel pentium4 13nm HT. Is it locked? This is really importand to me cause if i can change the cpu ratio i can overclock the FSB to 275mhz and eventually this will help me to run my TWINX1024 4400 memory at 275mhz.

It's my understanding that all Intel chips come multiplier-locked. You can overclock only by changing the FSB.

Although the CPUs multiplier will be locked you should have no problem adjusting the memory ratio.<BR><BR>Good Luck with your OC!
