rundll32 error

Every time i go to shutdown windows xp an end task box appers and says that it has to end rundll32, but then it says that it is not responding and you have to click on end task to shut down the computer.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

Unfortunately a rundll32 error is very vague, what type of applicatiosn do you have running at start up? Did you mess around with services? Do you notice a program or function that doesn't seem to work?
