as far as radiators go, which is better: 1x120mm or 2x 80mm
as far as radiators go, which is better: 1x120mm or 2x 80mm
depends on the size and shape of the radiator. you want to get airflowing through as much of the radiator as possible
are reservoirs needed? do they help in any way? can you tell im new at this?:)

I think Alienware was first with stock watercooling in their ALX lineup.

Radiator's aren't needed, but they're definitely helpful, especially when first setting your system up and bleeding the air out of it. It also kinda gives a bit of breathing room should your system ever spring a leak, god forbid.

Radiator's aren't needed...
Ha ha ha I think you meant reseviors aren't needed. If that is the case than that is correct. Reseviors aren't needed but they can make it easier.

Reserviors are very important to the water cooling setup. Their first importance is noticed when filling up the system. The pump can't run dry, so it needs water to feed off. Usually, you can just fill up the res, and turn on the pump, and there will be enough water in the res to fill the whole system. Then you just add water to the res until it is pretty full again. Another important feature of it is to allow water expansion. If you didn't have this, when the water got really warm, you'd have some built up pressure in the sytem. It isn't much, but it will make your system more prone to leaking. It only takes a couple drops of water on your hardware to really dampen the party. Just ask CompSnake.
yeah I always prefered reservoirs over t-lines, and I've been saying it was going mainstream for a while now...

It's very stupid for Sony to use water cooling because all the parts are going to be stock. Stock parts can already be cooled extremely quietly with air cooling or completely noiselessly with heatpipe cooling. The Alienware ALX series has a reason for water cooling which is the fact that Alienware will pre-overclock all the parts as far as they can push it before sending it out to the consumers.
