Hello,

I run a site which has lately been using over 50 gigs of bandwidth per month due to the amount of video content I offer.

I was wondering if anyone knows some good ways to make some cash back from this. I haven't been able to find good enough places to get pay per click ads or anything. Thanks a ton

ya link us up with this site of yours....anyway for the ads

Well you could run GoogleAds which im pretty sure you've seen on some other sites. 2 others that are like googleads are www.clicksor.com and
www.bidclick.com.

here is a bunch of others i found in another thread at another forum that you may wanna look up (check out Burst as i have heard they are pretty good and i havent heard anything else about the others).
www.burstmedia.com
www.tribalfusion.com
www.advertising.com
www.fastclick.com
www.cj.com (pay per lead or pay per sale I believe)
www.amazon.com

to be honest ... ads dont bring in all that much money to a site. atleast not enough to support a high bandwith site much less earn you some change in the pocket.

your best bet would be to look for individual sponsors that pay so much per month for their advertisements.

but if you really want to put ads on your site (which do nothing but p*ss me off lol) .. your best cash crop if you will in this area would be cj.com and google ads. ... although google and cj have rather strict guidelines on the kind of content you can have on this site to be able to have their ads on your site.

and trust me .. both of these companies are not ones you want to p*ss off with going against guidelines on content ;)

Not going to be very easy to get advertisements on your "hate" site.

No worries, I have had two local businesses approach me willing to pay a hell of alot more than any ads would ever pay for, for their ads to be on the site. One offered $750 a month, the other $300, so I am going to go ahead and do this, that will even make me money...

dang, how much u got left over. Although I don't expect it to be much, since your download speeds are nice you probably got a nice expensive server...

Oh lots, my 3 servers, and 50gb of bandwidth and 5gb of space per server costs me $40-$100 CDN per month, depending on how much bandwidth i use, if i go over my quota its obviously a lot more...

I probably have 90% of the money left over, so I can pocket it :D

can i ask why you have 3 servers with such low amounts of space and bandwith?
