P4 Prescott Heatsink

My wifes system runs great with the Jetway 9100 IGP Pro board, 2.4A ghz P4, and 512Mb; but the CPU's idle temp is shoing 58 F. Too me that is really hot and I was wondering if there is a good Heatsink out there but without the noise. I now the P4's with Prescott run hot but 58 is really hot too me.

58F don't you mean 58C? 58F is less than room temperature no?

I did mean 58C..sorry about that. I have been thinking about the CoolerMaster vortex but cannot find any reviews on it.

When is the last time you cleaned the heatsink? Also are there any BIOS updates for that mainboard?... I know ALOT of boards that will show high processor temps unless updated and then they're still not dead on.

I just built the system last Wed so I know it can't be that dirty yet. Jetway doesn't have a new bios for it right now either.
