I need to know the specifications (CFM/dBa) of my stock p4 fan. It is the Pentium 4c 3.0 ghz, 800mhz FSB.

The fan on it is the nidek brand, however i cant find the CFM/dBa anywhere on their site. The first line on it says A74895-004

I was looking, but have been stumped.

my stock fan is a fujikura 12v 0.36amp

Maybe they are the same, just different manufacturers.

Why do you need to know? Are you planning on replacing just the fan?

Going to replace everything. I need the DBA and the CFM cause i want my new fan to be better on both counts.

I Asked intel, they sent me to nidek. I asked nidek, they said it was privlaged infromation and that I could only get it from intel.

It's funny how nobody really knows such a simple question.

Yeah sorry in advance I don't know either :( , but I hate it. I have my BIOS set up so that it adjusts the voltage or power to the fan depending on the heat. So I turned off all my case fans and started playing Call of Duty. Bad move. It got sooooooo much louder than before and I have 7 80mm fans. I'm kinda glad it's a decent fan tho because the RPM went all the way up to 5100. But the dBa must have been like 40-55 (sorry I'm not greatly acquainted to sound :p ). Not the greatest idea, that's why I don't have a tornado PCGeek ;) .

how could one know ?

i mean intel would of cause know

and a person who had really expensive equipment to measure such specs would know

but for everybody else it would just be a guess

"bump" is just a way to get the thread back to the top of the list because everytime someone posts, it goes back to the top.

As I said I asked intel. Intel said they did not have that information and sent me to Nikon. Nikon said that information is classified and sent me back to intel >_>

at least somebody at intel is boun to know these specs otherwise nikon would never have been chosen as oem

you should have attached the email intel sent. or send the one Nikon sent to intel with a e-mail asking for specs.

In any case, I don't see what is so classified about it..

That person probablly dident know either, thats why he/she wrote that haha :D ;)
