i can decide what cpu is the best amd64 or intel?need some suggestions and is there a compare feature in pcstats.com between products?
Well here you go, feature comparison:
AMD------------Intel
ROCKS!!!--------SUCKS
ok more seriously, AMD have a shorter, more efficient pipeline, so they run faster at lower clock speeds. They run cooler, and now have 64-bitness (thnx to Shizzy for the word) And they are just faster all around processors. They are faster at gaming and rendering and at the very least matched in everyday tasks. The intel is faster at media encoding. The A64's are cheaper, require cheaper components, and are faster so refer to my comparison chart up top ;)

well to actually answer your question, the best amd 64 cpu is fx-53, but its a bit expensive (700$) so i would suggest gettign the amd 3000+ mobile 64 bit ofcourse, and overclocking it, or if you plan on upgrading your cpu a lot (like once a year) you should get a 3500+ or any 939 socket chip, but so far, the 3000+ mobile looks like a very promising chip

Couldn't agree more. I just have an intel rig cuz I got my 2.2 for free. So ya. I used to be an AMD person with my Thunderbird 900Mhz proc. So there's my life.
I did answer his question... I told him the A64 is faster and why. I'm sure he could then decide for himself which A64 is better

I think if i was buying from scratch i'd go athlon too, but I got my P4 system for free too. At least they CAN give them away...unlike AOL. My friend won 12 months AOL broadband but it screwed up his PC so much they had to buy him the last 6 months of the prize from another ISP lolololololololol
