¿cold cathodes?

Do cold cathodes give off heat or do the help to lower your comps temp by being cold as in there names "cold" cathode

I know my regular neons put off lots of heat... but I just recently got 2 cold cathodes... and I havnt noticed a change in temp with em... Lemme turn em on and see in about 5 minutes :)

Ok... The cold cathodes are slightly warm, if anything... Might get warmer if I leave em on and wait a while longer... But for now, they dont seem much warmer than the air temp.

Yep, they don't get cold, but they at least dont heat up like regular neons lol

They don't warm up much at all. I also have two CCFL lights in my rig and I haven't noticed any heat problems with them on.
