If you'd be so kind as to leave behind some constructive criticism, or just some blaring rude comments (either will do), I'd be grateful ;)

PC Advance (http://www.pcadvance.co.uk)

It's obviously not finished yet, but... this is the basic design for an upcoming web design company (yes, I know, I knocked the site together in a couple of hours, but personally I think it looks OK for such a small time investment).

MSBS (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/busolini/msbs/)

Again, quite obviously a work in progress, and quite literally a fifteen minute site, but it's the thought that counts. I'll try to keep this one updated.

And just as a side note - I completed an amazing new case mod (GTA style!!!) - check it out on my PC info site, (in my sig somewhere). When you get to the site it'll be the first entry under Articles and Mods.

the first site is kind of ... hazzy i guess you could say. there is no real contrast.

the second site is too dark. and needs more color. ...

now I know what you are going to say .... "but your site is only white with black text?" lol ... but the difference is the layout on my site and content setup isnt spread out. its condensed. so it has more of a indepth look to it then say a site that is white with black text that takes up the full window and its more spread out.

well thats the best i can explain it lol .... i suck at explaining things lol.

Chris, thanks for your offer, but sorry I don't need a graphic design artist. If I ever need anything I'll bear you in mind :)

Pimpin - thanks for your suggestion... but no I don't really see what you're getting at... my site is only 80 pix wider than yours, so still within limitations of 800x600 users, and should sit within the limits of one page with slight side gaps, whilst not looking microscopic at 1280x1024. I see your slightly "hazy" point, but in my opinion for a web design company you need a "clean", "uncluttered" website which is unassuming and inobtrusive, and therefore suits any person and doesn't assume any single design of website. Therefore it should be an open, indirect website with a plain and simple site design. Users wanting sites designed will all have different demands, concerns and requirements. Some will want bright and bold designs, others subtle and relaxing. If you have a site which directly assumes a particular type of design, it can be offputting and/or disconcerting.

What resolution are you running at? For this site to take the whole page you'd have to be running at 800x600...

with the width i was talking about your second site you posted. sorry if i wasnt clear on that.

but what i am saying about the first site (the pc advance site) is that you need some form of layout. right now it looks more like there is just a magnet in the middle pulling it all in lol.

this is kind of petty i guess .. but I think if you had a black vertical line on the right as you do on the left it would even the site out greatly.

You think there should be a vertical line all the way down the right hand side? Ok I can try that.

definately ... it would give it some structure.

Thx SSL

In54n3 - sorry about that. Fixed.

Pimpin - ATM I have 2x Win XP Home SP1, 1x Win 2000 Pro. I also have 98se on the laptop. I did have SP2 B1 on the 2kPro drive previously. I also tried Redhat briefly on the laptop. I also tried installing FreeBSD on there, but that didn't get too far.

Master Ace, what have you done with your MSBS web site??

Opining, I strongly approve of the black and red color scheme. Those two colors are a powerful combination.
