Ok... Im lookin for 2 more 80mm fans for my case. I need them to pull a HUGE amount of air :) Also it would be nice if they werent any louder than my 92mm tornado. Any suggestions?

Also... Im lookin at some Vantec fan dampeners cause Im considering just buying 2 more Tornados :) Anyone ever tried those? I know they help with vibrations, but Im not having problems with that... just wanted to know how they "dampen" the noise, and do the reduce air flow?

i would doubt that they would do anything, just get a fan controller and lower the speed of those suckers

Yep that will do it

Well, I ordered 2 fans with the noise dampening pads with no expectation at all for them to help. I figure I can just hook the tornados up to my controller and run em less than full speed. We'll see I suppose.

Yeah the nexus is everybody's first choice for tornados :)

Only thing I dont like about em is all the extra cables it adds! Good thing its tucked away already, but its like an extra foot of cable per channel!

Yeah, all fan controllers do... which is y I just wired all my case fans at 7v lol

3 tornados = LOUD  good thing they run the same temps at half speed... Now (depending on room temp) 42C idle 48C load... Not a HUGE difference... but better than before.

If you can somehow mod the case to fit 120mm fans, you can get Delta dual motor fans which bust out 220CFM.

The Deltas are only a few decibels louder so prepare to get some earplugs :p

Man, I've only got *one* Thermaltake Smart Fan II and it's still too loud! How the heck do you guys stand all that noise?

Louder music... more bass? I find that they really arent THAT loud... if you drown em out with something louder...

hehehe, me too. If I can't blast my speakers cause they disturb someone then I put on headphones...

The only time I don't mind the noise as much is when I have my air conditioner going full blast in my room! :D

I hate having neighbors and a nice sterio. I hate headphones too. I'm stuck on a boat here :p Have any of you ever sound proofed a room?

No but we're modders dammit. We can do anything. Soundproof it and take pics of your progress :p And I used to hate headphones but with my lil bro being so annoying and everything they are great, I'm using them right now lol.
