My dad's MS-6391 board died, the Willamette processor into my work computer.
Can anybody tell me the cheapest board the will support a 1.5 Willamette with PC100 SDRAM?

The Willamette is one of the worst processors Intel has ever made. Why not take the opportunity to upgrade? The Willamette is just not worth spending any more money on it.

Its for work, so I don't have that big of a budget to spend on it, and anything will be better then the P2 400Mhz I have right now.

yeah but getting a lacency motherboard which are not produced anymore is likely to require a bigger budget then getting a new system

look for socket 423 is you want it's the willy socket

something like this but it's not around now and is not likely to be cheap

i suppose your best bet is buying it used on ebay or some place like it

Yeah, take SLyons' advice! :D In fact, for that cheap Athlon XP mobo and proc combo, I'd like to recomment an Athlon XP 2500+ Mobile ($88) and an Abit NF7-S Rev 2.0 mobo ($92). Combined with a good set of dual channel low-latency PC3200 DDR, it will give you the best bang for the buck.

I know the mobile and NF7-S combo is great bang for the buck but if you want cheap...
I have used <a href="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-185-010&depa=1">This</a> cheap mobo in 5 builds and it works great.
Paired with an <a href="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-383&depa=1">Athlon 2000</a> and some cheap DDR and you will kill that wilamette

I was a little wary but someone around here wanted a really cheap PC so I went with it. I have used it 5 times and have not been disapointed.
