Need some help,my pc scores weird.

I have a dell dimension 4600
P4 2.8ghz 533
512mb pc2700
albatron FX geforce 5200 128mb 64bit

My 3dmark2001 score is like 4800 something
i saw other pc's with same configuration
score's 7000+.Im using 56.72 driver.

What mustbe wrong with my pc?

There are a few things that can have a big effect on the 3DMark score...

1. Chech the 3D tab in your advanced display setting.. make sure the sliders are all the way to the performance side.
2. Close your background programs like AV, firewall etc.
3. Do this regestry edit (http://forum.pcstats.com/showthread.php?t=15908) to allow Windows to use all your CPU's power.

Were the systems you compared yours to overclocked? That could give the other guys a good boost in speed.

i went to the directory Colin made
but there's no secondleveldatacache.
I only saw largecache something like that.

What version of Windows are you using? Are you sure you got into the correct key or subkey? Often some of the subkeys under the 5 main keys can be quite similar.
