Monitor/Video detection help.

I recently reinstalled windows and now for some reason my computer can't detect the monitor or the video card. I can't customize any monitor settings (besides resolution/colors) anymore because of this. Under properties>Settings it says Display: [Default Monitor] on. I've gotten the necessary drivers from nvidia.com and have fully updated windows and still nothing comes up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry if I posted in the wrong section.

In some cases before Windows can properly detect your video card and monitor you need to make sure to install the motherboard chipset drivers... especially the AGP bus drivers! After you've got the AGP bus drivers installed re-install the videocard and monitor drivers and you should be set.
