Colin gives the Gigabyte K8NSNXP a really good review. You can read it here. (http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1612) Has anybody used this board and have any feedback?

That board also did quite well in AnandTech's Socket-939 round-up. (http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2128)

(http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2128) Ever since the launch of the Athlon 64, MSI has been making a real name for themselves. They have pretty much had the best motherboards since launch. If your looking for a new Skt939 board right now, your best option would probably be the MSI Neo2.

Thanks for your replies, shiz and westy. I was looking at 754, not 939 though. Sorry I didn't make that clear. Shiz, how does MSI compare with Gigabyte with 754?

I know that MSI has been the clear leader on both Socket-754 and 939 platforms. Comparing motherboards with like chipsets usually produces fairly close performance results but the MSI boards have always come out on top of the group with Athlon64 performance.

MSI K8N Neo nForce 250Gb - Socket 754
MSI K8N Neo2 nForce 250Gb - Socket 939

Definetly the best motherboards available for the Athlon 64.
