View Full Version : Help with Windows start up screen logo.

hi all and thank you all for help in advance!
i was wondering if anyone here knows how i can get back my windows XP start up logo? i saw it once on colins emails newsletter to disable it but now i miss is and it looks nasty now everytime i start my pc and see a white bar while windows it loading. also i cant see nothing when i do a scan disk. please help! thanks a lot!

Try this-
Right click on My Compute > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery Settings > In the System Startup box click on Edit... see if you typed in /SOS at the end... If you did, simply delete that, save, and restart.

i did what u told me and i didnt find anything like u said this is only what i see....

Hmm... Dunno then :) Anybody else got some ideas for this poor soul?

i cant seem to find the article that colin sent in the newsletter... you know those that are sent to your email.... do you guys know colins' direct email so that i can send him something regarding this? thanks a lot guyz!

Start - Run- msconfig
Startup tab - remove tick from noguiboot

Yeah, looking at that, get rid of "/noguiboot" GUI is Graphic(al) User Interface.
