aldo the mx 1000 is supposed to be way better and more precise then its predecessors, apparently the laser technology it uses doesn't last very long (2 or so years)

mice dont last me 2 yrs anyways maybe ill pick one up plus i just read it has a 3 yr warrenty

BTW- Thnx for the pics, that mouse is so sexy... It even has a battery gauge, anyone knows how annoying it is to have batts die without warning...

From a review i read, this Lithium Ion battery, fully charged is supposed to last 21 days without needed to be recharged again, and with the rapid charger a 10min charge is supposed to be enough to last a full day. The battery is not exchangable, but it is covered in the 3 year warranty from logitech so u could just send it in if something happens with the battery (kinda like Ipods)

this is pretty much the best price for the mx1000 you can get at this time, unless you try ebay

There have been alot of mice labelled as Laser because of esthetics or because they incorporated a laser pointer. The MX1000 is the first to track mouse movement with a laser.
