my mobo says that it is a 875P but what I want to know is. I have never see a 875 so what is it

875 is the model chipset your motherboard uses. The chipset is responsible for conrolling communications between different hardware (RAM, CPU, Video Card, PCI Cards, Hard Drives). It is also responsible for the integrated features (USB, Firewire, Integrated NIC, Integrated graphics).

Don't worry though. The 875 is a great mobo. It's even better than mine! :D
