View Full Version : Has anyone seen a sp-94?
I need to find a sp-94 for my cpu My rig is running 51c and case at 48c. This is while running DOOM 3. Just like the sp-97 it's out of stock everywhere! If there is any one that has used the sp-120 on a 2.8c CPU let me know :) . I really want to cool the thing down abit.
I dont see em anywhere! Crazy how quickly they all disapeared... Maybe keep an eye out on ebay or somethin.

Is that 51C under load? If so I wouldn't worry about it... seriously it will be okay. If that's 51C idle though, what is the load temp?
I just checked it again after playing doom3 agian at it was at 53c. So I guess you'd say right after load!
You will be fine. My uncle's computer runs at 55C idle and has been going strong for 2 years now...
are u getting those reading from a motherboard sensor? sometimes the temps from the mobo will be marked up 3-5 degrees
yes I am getting those readings off an asus utility and the software mbm5. I found a sp-94 at crazypc.com for 48Bucks. Thats U.S. currency. I sure hope I can get the funds before they are gone. I want to get the toenado w/it and that's another 16 Plus I do not have any thermal grease so another 7 bucks. Well thakns for the input guys.

a tornado?! eh...you'll need a fan controller unless you can take your comp sounding like a vacuum cleaner all day...:p make sure it can take the tornado tho...it draws quite a few watts...
I have a 400 watt power supply
that shouls be ok eh?

lol..i didnt mean the psu...but the rather if the fan controller can take the tornado..the psu..erm..should be fine i suppose...
Should be, you just dont want to try to suck too much juice through the controller... You can ask Elrich about that one.

yea dont connect 5 fans a tornado, and 2 cathodes to it lol, or else you'll be inhaling second hand smoke from your computer
2nd hand smoke kills more... oh wait...
