Some nice details on Abits new line of gaming motherboards. You can read, and see pics on Digitimes (http://www.digitimes.com/mobos/a20041013PR201.html). That board makes me want to go out an buy a P4. Abit will release a Fatil1ty board based on the nForce 4 chipset as well. Most likely the SLI version, but there are no details yet.

bah no agp. And what exactly is that port in the upper left corner that looks like another PCIe 1x but isnt. It better not be the return of those damn Audio/Modem Riser slots :(

Im not a big fan of the horizontal oriented UDMA slots (bottom left). Nor where they stuck the floppy plug (mid left). Not that I use a floppy anymore, but for anyone who still does, thats just going to cause messy cable routing.

Thier northbridge cooler is of a fairly interesting design. I would have prefered they flipped it around so that the air blows towards that OTES cooler. Hell, why not just have the OTES channel connected to the fins of the NB sink? Reposition that fan to blow down on the sink. Then curve the heatsink fins in such a way that the airflow is directed into the OTES channel rather than outward in all directions.

They need to just ditch that fatality kid, he may be a good gamer but he sucks as a computer enthusiast. ;D
