Why this layout isnt more common in ATX cases is completely beyond me. Why something as obvious as this hasnt become more mainstream is completely beyond me.

You'd think for all the cash one has to shell out for a Lian-Li case it would come with something at least as cool as this.

I had a Lian Li case just like that, and it was okay. The cooling performance wasn't great because the VC created a pool of very warm air at the top of the case, and there was no exhaust up there.

if its the same case im thinking of, (it looks exactly the same) then it was designed to some BTX standards but still for ATX motherboards. The motherboard is mounted upside-down and the case opens from the right side. Its pretty bad-ass, but also pretty expensive.

Maximum PC just reviewed that this month! I just got the issue today. They gave it an 8/10.

Pros: Roomy, Great Cooling, Plenty of Drive Bays

Cons: Shroud Clips broke, drive rails are cheap, all steel chassis

That's just what they said. It looks great though!

I have lost my taste for Maximum PC. In this months issue they had a guide to building your own system. For the "High End" system they suggested a Prescott 3.6Ghz. For the "Mid-Range" system they suggest an Athlon 64 3800. Is it just me, or is something not right there? I'm sick of their Intel bias crap.

i dont care what a case looks like i will never go back to steel. once youve had aluminum everything else feels like its lead.
