View Full Version : Mobo question... err suggestions?
Ok.. so Im really considering moving to a 64bit chip soon. Right now Im just not going to mess with PCI-e. Bleh. Anyways, Id like nforce3 and I think Im gonna go with the 90nm chip, so Ill most likely be doing some OCing as well. What do you all think as far as the mobo though? Thanks.

The 90nm chips should be great overclockers, but there really isn't a 939 board that compares to the DFI Lanparty.
That's what I was thinking about looking into... think that would be the best bet?

if you can wait...the lanparty for socket 939 should be out soon...the 90nm 3000+ and 3200+ on s939 are chips oc'ers would buy to oc....so dfi will probably come out with a s939 lanparty pretty soon...
Crap, now that you mention it they dont have one at newegg... I could have sworn I saw one. Got any idea how long Im gonna have to wait? I dont mind, but I kinda found someone who might want to buy my current parts in oh... let's say about 3 weeks...

i have no idea...i hope the dfi peeps arent makin a nforce4 lanparty w/ pciexpress...lol
but go with the neo2 platinum in 3 weeks if nothing changes :p
the lanparty you saw was for socket 754
