I would like to build a new system as soon as some parts become available.
the configuration would be as follows

AMD fx-55
A SLi Mobo (Asus - gigabyte - abit.. whatever)
Corsair PC 4200 2 gig 2-2-2-5
2 x 6800 ultra 256MB pci-e video cards
550watt Antek pwr supply
2 x 70 gig 10,000 rpm hdd raid zero
2 x 250gig 7,000 rpm hdd raid zero
1 x DVD burner + / - dual layer
1 x combo reader
floppy
round cables etc

http://www.thermaltake.com/images/cases/menuicons/shark/black.jpg I did want to use the Thermaltake Shark case that comes with liquid cooling (pictured above) but i wanted to know if there was a better cooling solution for my box.
Is there any refridgerent coolers on the market?.. like with a condensor etc that mounts in a 5 1/4" bay?
I would like to run both my 6800 ultra's on the same cooling system as well as the mobo chipset.
I am concerned about putting coolers in series as the heat will build up... does someone make a multi port radiator?
I know i sound a little fussy but if i am going to spend all this money on a box I want the best i can get :)

well i too are in the same situation but im still waiting, mainly till i can afford it, but im waiting for the 90nm FX cpu's at least as they will run cooler and be 'cheaper to run' (power consumpsion). for myself air cooling for the moment will be my choice of cooling. im getting the cooler master stacker case, but later im considering adding the prometeia colin talked me into buying :D (its great when you can blame it one someone else!!! ;) thanks colin!!! :))

you have a great rig already, i would be a little less worried about upgrading so soon.. why are you upgrading anyways???? with a rig like that, i would DEFINTELY hold on for a while.. man im so jealous!!

lol...there are phasechange coolers on the market..but it will not fit in a drivebay...i dont suggest you get one of those unless you really know what you're doing...a $1k is an expensive price for a new cpu if condensation kills it...if you feel you're up to it...get a prometia or a vapochill for the cpu and watercooling for the vidcards...

the watercooling that comes with the shark is decent...but it wont hold against an fx55, 2 ultras, and a chipset...

But lets talk about your parts first...corsair doesnt make pc4200 rated at 2-2-2-5...you're best bet would be their ddr550 rated at cas2.5...that stuff can really overclock...but if you're not overclocking..get ocz's pc3200 el platinum rev2 or corsair's xl pc3200 pro (those led's look cool..:p)

The antec 550watt isnt the best...i think pc power&cooling's turbo cool is...along with ocz's powerstream...

Now to watercooling, custom kits are the best in terms of performance...but more likely than not..they also require extensive case modding...if i had the cash i would likely go with two separate watercooling set ups...one for the cpu, chipset...and a separate one for the graphics cards...if you go with prefab kits...im not so sure they'll perform well enough..as two ultras, an fx55, and a chipset is a lot of heat....they might just surpass the heat dissapation abilities of that watercooling kit...if you're gettin custom watercooling..be sure to pick up a dremel ;), a huge case...the bigger the better, lots of sandpaper and a few fan grills...

definitey the prometia. depends on how much you plan on overclock. personally i would go with the prommy.

in watercooling market, swiftech just released a new water kit, it's a even better improvement than the one i already have. it's the best bang for the bucks waterkit i've seen so far. performance vs. price. can't beat that, especially if you want some extra power,,... go with their 120mm external radiator. it requires no cutting/modding, mounts directly.
