win nt start up

I can't seem to get in the back door of nt to disable some of the programs
i have tried msconfig and no luck tells me no files of that name does any one know how i can get in there to shut down some running programs :confused:

windows nt does not have msconfig, if you wish to take processes off startup, you will have to go through the registry. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\curr ent version\run

well i tryed what u sugjested but all i could get is a mdify string and the name would come up but no disable or stop not sure how to work that do u just delete the name ?

Just delete the whole entry for the things you don't want starting automatically.
