Cannot retrieve License

:mad: Can anyone help me, I can get into Windows XP Pro but cannot access services? I pretty new.... a friends told me to re-install XP, but cannot access license key because it give me a message configuration is incorrect, please anyone.....?

erghh.......... the license key is on the booklet............ (providing you use genuine winxp).......... \
and the activation sequence only begin once you login to windows and all working fine.........

You only need Cd-Key when you reformatted your PC............. :D

In case you ever lose your cd-key and want to retreive it in windows (or if you ever want to change your cd key.... say to a legal one... lol), I found this swell keyfinder/changer.

actually theres another way to change the cd thats built into windows, it wont retrive the key for you though.

you change the binary value of the OOBETimer key under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents" to any random value

this will allow to re-run the activation program by going to start\run and typing "%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a" select activate over the phone, then select change product key, change it, close the activation wizard, reboot, and you're done
