does firefox automaticall clean up history and tempory internet files when you exit it, or do you have to set it up to do this

and do you know any good plugins to use for firefox, i want one that will minimize it to the system tray when i exit it, but i like any plug in that is worth having :D

you have to set it up to do so and just look at firefox or mozilla's website to find plugins

I definitely recommend you get Tabbrowser Extensions (http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/tabextensions/index.html.en) plug-in. One of the great features of Firefox is tabbed browsing, and the Tabbrowser Extensions gives you incredible control and options.
