Speaker settings in Control Panel,,,,

Can anyone help with this problem,,,,,,,,, My speakers change from Qaud speaker setting to Desktop stereo when I reboot. I have 4.1 Logitechs and a Soundblaster Audigy card using the Creative software that came with the card (Everything is upgraded to the newest versions - driver and software)

that happened to me, go into the windows audio settings and make sure there is quad speaker mode, and have a fiddle about with the SB software, and make sure that is, and save all the settings, if the windows audio is in 2, and the SB is in 4 speaker mode, the speakers will work in quad, untill you reboot, where windows will change your SB settings back to 2 speaker mode. thats what happened to me anyway

just make sure EVERYTHING you can find is in 4 speaker mode
