do yuo have an agp videocard you would like to use? are do you want to go on the pci express wagon? because ehres 2 boards that will be good for either agp or pci-e
agp - msi k8n neo2 platinum (i have one, its pretty good, and zefram here will recommend it too im sure)
pci-e - DFI nforce 4 ultra board (i dunno the name or model)

If you want to go PCI-e I would suggest the DFI nforce4 ultra board. If you already bought the AGP 6600GT then I would get an Abit AV8-3rd Eye.

the abit board is good too...im not a fan of the via chipsets, the other msi board i suggested is based on the nvidia nforce3 chipset
Yea I already have the vid card, so I'm leaning towards the neo 2, so know other suggestions?
Thanks

i like my VIA, but you have to have a good PSU, or youll start to have problems

cool thing about the msi, being nforce 3 based, is the firewall, and some neat raid features, i dont really use them, but they're cool features, id like to toy with them when i have time
